Kirrilee is an experienced communications and marketing leader with more than twenty years working across the sport and not-for-profit sectors. She brings experience in strategic communications, brand development, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling that connects communities and strengthens organisational identity.
Kirrilee has spent the past five years as General Manager, Brand Communications at Gymnastics Australia, where she led national marketing, communications, media, and digital engagement. Her work shaped the organisation’s brand direction, supported high performance and participation pathways, and delivered large-scale campaigns and content across a federated system. She also guided the organisation through complex change, policy reform, and high-profile national issues, ensuring clear, steady and transparent communication with members and stakeholders.
Before joining Gymnastics Australia, Kirrilee held senior roles in community services and local government, specialising in campaigns that highlighted human stories, strengthened donor and community trust, and navigated sector-wide reform.
Kirrilee is passionate about the role sport plays in connection and belonging. She brings a practical, people-centred approach to her work, combining strategic thinking with a calm and collaborative leadership style.
