Australia secures World Championships qualification at Oceania Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships

Australia has secured qualification to the World Championships following a strong performance in the group competition at the Oceania Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Tshwane, South Africa.


The Australian senior group of Isabella Wang, Aggie Fan, Joselyn Cheung, Victoria Wei and Alina Yu delivered across both routines to finish first overall with a total score of 40.100, confirming the Oceania qualification spot.


In the senior individual all around, Australia’s Alicia Tan claimed the Oceania title with a total of 102.600, leading a strong Australian showing.


Sofia Hemmings finished second overall on 97.650, while New Zealand’s Havana Hopman delivered a strong performance to place third on 97.450.


The results reflect a strong showing across the region, highlighted by Australia’s group qualification and consistent performances throughout the competition.
